Poetry and Occasional Randomness
Cold sunny morning
Wind blowing cool and softly
Chilling the fall air
A dark dreary day
Summer’s once vibrant green leaves
Soaked in fall showers
A thick frosty chill
Covers the bright fall morning
Cool and refreshing
Golden warm sunshine
Drenching the yellow-green leaves
Soaking them in light
Summer leaves changing
Turning into fall colors
Filling up the trees
Under a grey sky
A cool October morning
Welcomes the new day
The first signs of fall
Two bright yellow oblong leaves
Among the bright green
A crisp and cool breeze
Flowing through this summer day
Feeling like autumn
A cold wind blowing
Shaking multi-colored leaves
Hanging on the tree
Yellow-orange leaves
Scattered among the green leaves
A sign of Autumn
Green and orange leaves
Mix and mingle together
Caught in fall’s embrace
Dark brown leaves scattered
Laying on the bright green grass
Crunching underfoot
Autumn’s golden leaves
Burning in the morning sun
Covered in red fire
A cold bleak sunrise
Autumn leaves hang on the trees
Refreshed by the sun
Autumn’s dying leaves
Red, orange, yellow, and green
Scattered all about
Sunlight on fall leaves
Colors pop in the warm rays
Highlighting beauty
Trees dressed in color
Sharp yellow, green, red, and gold
Scattered all about
Fall on the attack
Yellow leaves mix with bright green
Two seasons at war
A cool wind blowing
Heat temporarily stalled
Fall has now returned
Barrage of acorns
On my roof they rat tat tat
Like machine gun fire
